D. Tyler Vernon, Chief Executive Officer

D. Tyler Vernon is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Biltmore Capital Advisors. As head of the Investment Committee, he holds responsibility for global investment strategy and portfolio allocations.

His market and investment commentary has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, CNN Money, Bloomberg and Dow Jones Newswire and is a frequent guest on FOX Business News and CNBC.

A graduate of Lafayette College with a BA in Economics and Business with an emphasis in financial markets, Tyler has attended advanced professional courses at The Wharton School of Business.

Previously, Tyler worked for Merrill Lynch at its world headquarters in New York City. In his twenties he had the distinction of being named one of the youngest Vice Presidents in Merrill Lynch history. Tyler’s responsibilities included investment strategy development and money manager due diligence for more than $1 billion of client assets.

Tyler sits on the board and chairs the investment committee of Trinity Counseling Service, a Princeton, NJ based non-profit. In addition to his philanthropic activities at Trinity, Tyler started a non-profit called the Rum Cay Foundation with a mission to help enhance the quality of education, health, and overall welfare of the local residents of Rum Cay, Bahamas.
