UPS News: Weathering Transitions With Advisory Firms

We hope you are enjoying the start of the new year.  In the asset management and advisory business, sometimes individual advisors will move firms for various reasons and at that time, clients have some important decisions to make.  Some of you in the UPS community may be affected by the recent announcement that a group of financial advisors at another brokerage are making these changes.  We realize that these these types of situations may raise some questions, such as, possible differences in fee structures, interest rates, quality of money management, evaluating the integrity of a new firm, and importantly, how not to “get lost in the shuffle” during such a change.  But a time like this can also be viewed as an opportunity to step back and take another look at the best financial direction for you and your family.

Please let us know if we can help answer your questions, perform independent evaluations, or give honest, objective feedback about your options during this transition. As you know, Biltmore Capital  has worked with UPSers for many years, and has a strong platform to provide advice and services to United Parcel Service employees and retirees. As independent financial advisors (not commission-based as are many companies), our first obligation is to serve our clients’ needs and best interests above all else.

Sincerely,

D. Tyler Vernon
